A Day at the Farm

Braeda and I spent Saturday at the farm while Rylan was at work. We spent most of the day outside ..swimming..swinging..playing..and sitting on the tractor with Grandpa. It was a day of many firsts for her!

Checking out the cows. She wasn't sure what was making all the noise while she was swimming..so she had to check it out with Grandma.

I love this face!! The wrinkled up nose and the serious eye brows!

Playing with 'Wilson' in the pool with Grandpa. She loves the water and crawled around in the pool and even swam a little on her belly for the first time.

First time on a tractor!! First of MANY times I am sure!

She has finally become interested (instead of terrified) in the grass.

She crawled off the blanket and into the grass..but she stayed like this for quite a while. She did not want her knees touching the grass.

She finally gave up and sat down..and then became very interested in a flower she found in the yard.

Baby Boy Funk

We did Leslie's maternity pictures this past week. Although McKenna really was not interested in taking pictures..we got some really good shots of Leslie. Just less than 4 weeks till this little boy makes his big debut! Yay for a baby boy in the family!

This is my all time favorite!! I think this could be used as an add in a magazine!!

Walk & Roll 2012

The Richland County Walk & Roll was this past Saturday. We did fantastic again this year!! Our team came in 2nd for the most money raised. The team that won 1st is a business with over 400 employees to help raise the money..and our team consists of 18 members...so I think we're doing pretty darn good considering the size difference and the fact that we were barely $500 behind them. It was a great day and even though mom couldn't be there with us..we were able to Skype with her several different times throughout they day.

Swimming

Braeda went swimming with McKenna Friday afternoon. Braeda was not a fan of McKenna's splashing..so we entertained her with the sprinkler so Braeda could enjoy the pool.

Tibbs Kids

I took pictures of the Tibbs kids this week. They wanted to print a large image for their mom for Mother's Day. We decided to go with a lot of muted images, as well as black and white. They just created that timeless, classic look, which is great when you are printing a large image to display in your house. Enjoy!

Simpson Family

I have known Lacey since she first went to school at St. Joe. Her and Leslie have been really good friends for years and years. So I was extremely excited to take pictures of Lacey, Daniel, and baby Dean. Leslie and I headed to Newton to take their pictures a few Sundays ago. I wanted to post some images on here while the entire set is uploading to my website, as Leslie has been dying to check them out.

Easter 2012

Our Easter morning began as usual. Sunrise service at 6:30..breakfast at church at 7:30..Sunday School at 8:30..and church service at 9:30. I love Easter Sunday and spending 4 hours at church with our wonderful church family..remembering the real reason that we celebrate Easter. We celebrate Jesus' resurrection..but we also need to remember what Jesus went through before he rose from the grave.

We had lunch at Jen's. McKenna and Braeda hunted for Easter eggs outside. We had supper at Randy & Julie's..played bags and let Braeda enjoy her new swing. It was definitely a beautiful day to be outside!
