Leslie at 26 Weeks
I'm doing a small collage of Leslie's images that I take every 2 weeks as she progresses in her pregnancy so you all can see how she's growing and changing. I will post all the images on my ShutterFly Site (sometime between now and next week..as my internet at home is too slow to upload pictures) for everyone to view. This is only the 2nd baby that I've felt move around in a stomach..and it's still kind of odd to me as to how I would handle it if it were me. It just sort of freaks me out to think about a baby rolling around inside of a person..and I've never really given it much thought until Leslie got pregnant and since I'm around her often, the baby is always on the move and I get to feel it. :)

A Crazy Week
August came to stay with me this week while Rylan was gone to State Convention in Springfield. Needless to say..we have been very busy. I picked her up Tuesday from Champaign and we came home and went to Vacation Bible School at the church. She LOVED it. She made lots of friends and danced her little heart out. Wednesday morning she worked out with me.
Then we went to the OCC Cosmetology School and got a pedicure together. She really wasn't too sure about the whole 'letting your feet soak in water' part but she loved getting her toes painted and the little flowers that the girl put on them. Everyone in the school just loved her!
Before we went to VBS Wednesday night, we went to the farm to see Randy & Julie. She played golf outside, rode in the tractor, and rode on the Bush Hog.
She danced and sang and hopped and played and got all crafted out after 3 full nights of VBS.
Thursday, we went to Newton for cheerleading practice. She had way too much fun with the girls. She cheered and did jumps and motions with them. Then a few of them played golf and colored with her.
Before we went to VBS, Leslie & Rhett came over to discuss baby shower details. Rhett and August played with my Bender Ball and he was making her laugh so hard that it was the BEST deep bellied laugh EVER! I laughed just because her laugh was so contagious. Rhett had a blast playing with her.
We came home last night and Rylan was here. She was so excited to see him and she asked him if he missed her and loved her. We put her to bed and then we hit the hay..we're all so worn out from such a crazy week. Before we went to bed..I caught Rylan standing at August's bedroom door watching her sleep..I had to smile.
This morning, she pooped in the potty!! TWICE!! She'll say.."Amy, I have to potty." And I tell her to go and potty then..and she does it all by herself. So this morning, I put the sombrero on her and gave her the maraca and told her to dance for pooping in the potty!! It's so funny to see how excited she gets when she goes to the bathroom on the potty. She sang the Poncho song for me and shook her maraca. Check out the Mr. Potato Head earrings that she put on her toes. I didn't notice them till I took the pictures and zoomed in on them. Funny stuff!
I must say that I've had an absolute blast with her. She is getting so big and growing so fast that it boggles my mind!! She's such a good kid and we really do love spending time with her.

Our 1st Year Anniversary - Texas Vacation
Rylan and I left for Texas last Friday. We stopped in Decatur, Texas to stay with Kyle Wade & Krista Robinson for 2 nights. The first night, they took us to a local restaurant called Cow Camp Steakhouse. The next night, we went to the Fort Worth Stockyards and ate at Cooper's Barbeque.
After we ate, we went to Billy Bob's Texas and saw Neal McCoy sing. He put on a heck of a show..he's a great entertainer!
We headed down to San Antonio early Sunday morning to stay at the Inn on the Riverwalk.
While there, we walked the Riverwalk, went up in the Tower of Americas, went in the Alamo, ate the world's largest cinnamon roll at Lulu's, and ate at a Whataburger. Below are some pictures of our trip.
The above picture is taken in the Market the last day we were in San Antonio. We had a great time on vacation and hope to visit Kyle & Krista again sometime in the future. OH..and since it was our anniversary, they put this on our bed! :)
