An Evening With August

Friday night Rylan and I were able to spend the evening with August. She came to our house and we played outside. She cleaned the helicopters out of the concrete pad below the drain spout and layed down in it.
I picked up a little lawn chair for her at a garage sale and got it out for her to use. She must have seen Bill or Travis lay back with their eyes closed and their feet straight out in front of them, because that is the first thing she did when she sat in the 'August Chair'. We found a robin's egg outside and mom and I were telling her to be careful with it because there is a baby chick inside of it. She was so excited and she played with it forever. After being so excited about the baby in the egg..she picked it up and shook it with excitement and it busted in her hand..she was NOT happy then! She freaked out but mom and I clapped and told her it was okay..but I had to immediately wash her hands..YUCK!
After washing August's hands, we played with Mr. Potato Head inside with Rylan. She was trying to be just like Mr. Potato head that I dressed up. (Notice he's sitting on my leg.) You can barely see the yellow earrings on her in this picture. And she's trying to put on the Mr. Potato Head shoes just like the Mr. Potato Head that I created.
She gave Rylan and Mr. Potato Head tongue and made him put it in his mouth so she could lick his Mr. Potato Head tongue with hers. Too funny!!!

I must say that she totally wore the both of us out. But we had a blast with her and we love her to death! She definitely makes us laugh!

The Girls on Vacation

Here are some pictures from the vacation that Mom went on with the girls. I'm assuming this is is Deb, Mom, and Sheila's feet.Here they were eating somewhere. After looking at the other pictures from this restaurant..I'm assuming they had a little too much sun..beverages..and fun!

> 3 Weeks

Holy crap! I can NOT believe the wedding is less than three weeks away! And the weeks only seem to get crazier!

Friday was Olney's prom and Kristen and Blake were adorable, as usual! Kristen's dress was just beautiful..and she looked amazing of course!All my aunts & uncles on the Cummins side got Rylan and I a rock for our landscaping and some more chairs for our patio set. Now all we need is a grill and an umbrella and the deck will be perfect for entertaining!!
Saturday, Erin, Rachel, and I went to Berryville Vinyards to do some wine tasting. I've never been there before, but I love it! It's in the middle of no where..with a cute little shack and pond. We're gonna try to go there in the summer for a picnic and make a day of it. Then they have a huge Festival in the Fall where they release their new wines for the year and have a bunch of games and such for everyone, including children, to play! I can't wait!! Oh The Joys Of What Is To Come

Mom texted me this morning at 8:20 to inform me, "We made it to Florida! Let the fun begin!" I told her that I wanted to vomit on her! Then I got to thinking that someone else will probably do that for me this week..maybe not directly on mom...but surely they will on the beach! My guess would be my Aunt Lisa or Aunt Sheila! HA! Oh the stories they'll come back with..can't wait to hear 'em..let me tell ya!

Two words for you...ONE MONTH! Actually a day shy of a month..but how crazy is that! Things are really progressing with the wedding..the house however still needs some work. I just haven't had time to put things away and get everything organized the way I'd like for them to be.

Oh! Mom and I walked 7 miles Wednesday night. We stopped by Bill & Deb's for a glass of water and finished our walk. It felt great to walk that far..the most we've done so far is 6 and that's just to Mimi's and back..and of course we stop for about 30 minutes at her house so cool off. This past week I have walked a total of 24.5 miles. And I have lost a total of 17 pounds. Mom has lost like 24 or something..I don't know her exact number..and I sure don't wanna contact her because I'm sure they're on the beach right now!

Doesn't appear that I will get much wedding and house stuff done this weekend with how crazy it is looking! Saturday morning I have my first 5K..I'm probably walking it since my shin's are giving me fits and all. But I'm excited anyways! It's for a GREAT cause too! Rylan has the Trust Bank Garden Show all day that he has to take plants to sell at. Saturday night we are supposed to eat supper with Brock & Amanda Tarr. Sunday afternoon I have a baby shower for Sarah Horner to go to. And again..no time to do anything but be here, there, and everywhere. I'm definitely ready for things to slow down!!
