Still Walking...
Mom and I are still walking with the group that we walked with last Spring...The Beach Girls. We usually do 3-4 miles each night together..and mom and I do 2 miles before we walk with everyone..so we get a total of 5 in each night. This past Saturday..mom and I met at 7 and we real ambitious..we walked 8 miles!! We ran half of it and walked the other half..we did it all in 96 minutes!! That's 12 minute miles..which is super awesome that we can walk/run that much and still be able to finish it with 12 minute miles!! It felt GREAT!! So far..mom has lost 27 pounds and she you can really start to tell. Her face is thin..and she's having to buy new clothes because hers are looking baggy and sloppy on her. I have lost 10 pounds(since we've been back from the cruise..cuz I gained like 5 on the cruise! HA!) I'd like to loose another 10 pounds before we go on vacation the first week of August. And then I'll gain like 5 of it back on vacation from food and booz probably. That's okay tho..vacation is too much fun..I'll forget about the weight for a week and just relax. Can't wait!!

New Photography Site
I created a photography site through Shutterfly yesterday so I could post entire shoots. This will allow family members to view all the photos from the shoot. I'm really like the things you can do on it so far! There's a calendar and people can print pictures from the site. Pretty neat! Check it out!

Bored in Class
Cheryl and I had a conversation earlier and have just finished it in class..and now we are cracking up at our totally random conversation..that makes no sense at all.
After we walked..we both had major wedgies and our undies were like stuck to our butts. So I told Cheryl that my ass was chapped and I asked her if she would rub chap stick on my chapped ass. She said no..so I told her that it chaps my ass that she won't rub chap stick on my chapped ass. Then I threw an alcohol pad at her and she told me to rub it on my chapped ass. I told her that would burn and I'd rather to have chap stick rubbed on my chapped ass. She said that it chaps her ass that it chaps my ass that she won't put chap stick on my chapped ass! HAHAHA!
We KILL ourselves laughing more and more each day!!

From Farm Girl..To Model
There is something to be said about a girl that grows up on a farm and has a lot of boy in her..but can pose like a beautiful model. Kaylyn has so much natural beauty that it doesn't take much to make a simple picture amazing. I took Kaylyn's senior pictures this past Tuesday out at and around her parents farm. She did such a great job the entire evening! We spent about 3 hours and took just over 650 pictures! Whew what a time! Mom went with..of course..I have to have her to fix hair and help have a second opinion. Mom and I had a blast with Kaylyn during her session. She's always up for a good time with lots of laughs! Thanks for a great experience Kaylyn! Below are some of her pictures in a collage that I made to hang in my classroom.
Today, we worked on these graduation announcements for her to send out instead of using the standard ones that get sent out..she wanted her to be personalized. Her name is her signature! Sweet huh!?

The Joys of a Child - Part 2934798237497234
I swear Rylan and I need to start writing down everything August does when she comes over. She makes us laugh harder than we think possible. I picked Aug up from Deb's today after school and she spent the evening with us, since we weren't here to celebrate her birthday with her.....we were on our cruise. I walked in the door and ran up to me and hugged me as she usually does..but then she looked around and said.."But where's Rylan?" I told her that he was at work and she became concerned and wondered if she would get to see him. And she's incredibly dramatic..which makes everything she does 10 times better.
We come back to our house and she pulls out some toys. She goes into the office..because that's where all the books are..and as I'm pulling out some books to read..she sees Rylan's guitar. She looks at it and says, "Oh how neat Amy! What is this thing? Can I touch it? What does it do? Oh please let me play with it!!" And this absolutely kills me! I can hear her voice now. So we pulled it out and she played it for awhile..then I played it for her while she played the harmonica. We had our own little 2ManBand.
After we played for a bit..we decided to go to Wal-Mart to let her pick out something for her birthday..and we came home with a water ball..made to bounce in the pool..and a Radio Flyer PINK Flowered Scooter!! It is freakin' adorable and she was even able to ride it all by herself once we brought it home.
It's the perfect size for her..and the three wheels allow her to ride it without having to balance. She thought she was pretty cool riding it up and down our hallway and stopping at each room to look inside.
She may have gotten the wrong idea..I had to explain to her that it was a scooter..not a stage for her to dance on...as she soon fell off. The picture above kills me!
We ate Joe's with Leslie and Rhett and Rylan..and as we had all just finished eating, August stuck her finger in the straw hole of her cup and couldn't get her finger out..she looked at me with a terrified face and said, "Oh no! My finger's stuck!" I helped her remove her finger..and then we all laughed at her facial expression because she was so dramatic. We asked her as we were leaving Joe's if she'd like to get some ice cream..and she replied, "Oh! Chilly Willys?!?" Well of course! Nothing but the best!! So we got sundae's at Chilly Willy's and took them to mom's house to eat them before taking her back to Deb's.
She peed in the potty for me twice!! Dry diaper the whole time! :-P There's just something to be said about a child that is so fun to be around and who makes you laugh non-stop. Rylan and I about peed our pants at mom's laughing at her. She wanting Rylan and I both to sit next to her and 'enjoy' our ice cream with her. She is so dramatic and she pays such close attention to detail that it blows my mind! Rylan and I definitely enjoy every minute we get to spend with her..as she lightens our hearts and makes us laugh till we cry! We love you Aug!!

Back At It & Still Goin' Strong
Mom and I are back at our good ol' walkin' & joggin' routine!
We'd like to plan a Ladies Half Marathon Walk(13.1miles) this Fall. Possibly in October..so the weather will be perfect then. We'll plan stops every 2-3 miles at someone's house to go to the bathroom, get a drink, and grab a power bar. Then we'll end at someone's house around lunchtime..eat grilled chicken and a nice big salad. We'd also like to have a cooler full of beverages and maybe some slushy drinks..and just have a nice little lunch party! If anyone is interested. Let me know!! We're thinking an entry fee of $25. This cost will cover food, drinks, and a t-shirt. This year will just be a trial run..but next year and every year after..we'd like to do this to benefit a cause or something. But......we'll see how this year goes first!!

A Whole New Vaca Style
I was introduced to a whole new style of vacationing last weekend. Part of our Christmas present was a cruise from Randy and Julie..for the entire family. We flew out of Indy Wednesday evening and stayed the night in Tampa. The cruise left Thursday afternoon. We sailed all day Friday..spent Saturday in Cozumel, Mexico..and sailed all day Sunday. We arrived back in Tampa Monday morning..flew out that afternoon..and arrived home around 9 last night. So needless to say..we are exhausted today! We had a great time though! The entire vacation was a whole new experience for me..I have never flown nor been on a cruise. But I really enjoyed it. Below are some pics from the trip.
Hilary, me, Kristen, Taylor
Waiting to get on our flight.
Waiting to get on our flight.
A view from where we sunbathed.
At dinner..having a 'SuperCharged' time.
Rylan..in Mexico.
There were paper-mache type items all over the place at the port.
Hilary and I
HAHA! I had to get a picture of this!
That's out boat behind us.
The Carnival Inspiration.
Puerta Maya was the port where our ship docked.
We shopped at the stores there and then went to Playa Mia beach.
This guy was super awesome! He was all dressed up and was doing dances.
This is a picture we had taken while we were on the boat.
It was taken on the 'dressy' night..after dinner.
Love the dress!!
Rylan and I with our waiter Jzolt.
The storm clouds that caused us turbulence while we were trying to land in Indy.
They were so pretty though!
What was only a 4 day vaca..seemed like a 10 day vaca.
It was very relaxing.
We ate every 3-4 hours.
Went to bed around mid-night.
(I know..That's late for me! And it's a miracle..I didn't turn into a pumpkin!!)
Slept in till around 9 or so.
And...........I gained 5 pounds! :)
Gotta love a good vaca with the fam!
